Enlightenment

Enlightenment is like the moon reflected on the water.
The moon does not get wet, nor is the water broken.
Although its light is wide and great,
The moon is reflected even in a puddle an inch wide.
The whole moon and the entire sky
Are reflected in one dewdrop on the grass.

This calls for considerable reflection and introspection. Lovely imagery.

Do you ever feel that the deeper levels of understanding hover just beyond the reach of your mental fingertips, but just as you think it is within your grasp, it slips away, leaving you groping and groping in frustration. So relax, relax, let it come to you and once again it hovers just beyond...

Hi,

I borrowed this picture of my new post "The Moon Is Reaching for Me". I hope it's OK. Let me know if you want me to remove it.

Thanks a lot! Again, very much enjoyed your enlightening posts.
